The choreographer today must be aware of everything. Dance is part of a trend which turned art into a reflexive-political imperative. This piece wishes to learn from major contemporary choreographers, to clean some of their awareness by recognizing blind spots in their work, which we will use and play with. This way we might get a chance to attain some liberation from the burden of awareness, and manage to say something about “the dance of now”. At the same time we will gain an imaginary act of our own, in preparation for a future in which there will be an overflow of knowledge but no illusions of awareness.
